Average IT guy from Italy. Passionate about retrocomputing. Coffee enjoyer (in moderation). Currently living somewhere in the woods.
I’m not exactly a fan of mainstream social media, and I'm worried by the way the digital world has evolved over the last few years.
The web today is sick—bloated, invasive, designed to trap our attention and regurgitate terabytes of junk, rather than provide real value.
I decided to write here because I believe we need a reset. The Internet can (and should) be simpler, freer, and more human. Perhaps, by trying to go back to the good old days of the "indie" web, we may find what's been missing all this time: a return to simplicity.
If you are here, there's a good chance you feel the same way. But even if you don't, I still would like to hear your thoughts.
Feel free to look around, and welcome on The Unplugged Web.
